At ACROKINGDOM, we prioritise great care and precision in packing and shipping corals to guarantee the highest quality. Your corals are carefully packed and sealed to maintain stable temperatures and prevent damage, safeguarding the health and vitality of your purchase. You’ll receive a tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery. Someone MUST be available at the time of delivery to prevent livestock from being exposed to the rain and/or extreme temperatures. We can hold your order for up to 2 weeks or make delivery date adjustments upon request.

During the checkout process, you have the option to choose your preferred delivery day. Our team closely monitors the weather conditions. All corals are shipped with a 40-hour heat pack. If the weather is expected to be too warm, the heat packs will occasionally be left out. In the event of extreme cold or hot weather that could potentially harm the corals, we will contact you to determine the most suitable delivery day for both you and the livestock. Discover Our Exceptional Shipping and Packaging Methods!

At ACROKINGDOM, we recycle packaging from replaced fridge-freezer doors to create our unique shipping boxes, thanks to the generosity of a local domestic appliance repair company. Recycling old packaging is beneficial for both the environment and the economy because it:

– Protects ecosystems and wildlife: By reducing the need for new raw materials, recycling helps in the preservation of ecosystems and wildlife.

– Reduces waste: Recycling minimizes the amount of waste that ends up in landfills.

– Saves energy: It takes 75% less energy to produce a plastic bottle from recycled plastic compared to using newly made plastic.

– Conserves natural resources: Recycling lessens the need to grow, harvest, or extract new raw materials from the Earth.

– Reduces pollution: Recycling decreases the energy required for sourcing and processing new materials, which in turn cuts climate-changing carbon emissions.

– Supports the economy: The recycling industry creates jobs and stimulates economic growth.

– Saves trees: Recycling cardboard and paper leads to fewer trees being cut down.

 How we do it:

We  silicone two of the styrofoam corners and cut off a lid using our own DIY cutting table. The resulting boxes are exceptionally robust and resistant to damage during transport due to the thickness of the styrofoam. They also provide improved heat insulation, resulting in higher shipping survival rates and safer recovery of corals during shipping. While most acropora can survive extremely cold shipping temperatures, they can experience significant stress afterward, which hampers their growth. Our main goal is to prevent this stress.
